Welcome to Pier Walk on Deerfield Beach!

Pier Walk was built in 1970 and is a complex of 20 boutique furnished apartments with 26 parking spaces on Deerfield Island: 12 studios, 7-one bedrooms, and one two-bedroom. It has 22 listings that can host anywhere from 1 guest up to 16 guests at a time for larger groups and families. It has a courtyard swimming pool, is one block from the beach and walking distance to the main shopping and entertainment strip. We're family-owned and managed with several hundred happy, returning guests. After booking, guests receive our detailed online local guidebook and property house manual as well as a video tour link of the entire space to properly plan your stay.

Our 4-apartment listing with 8 parking spaces sleeps 16 guests combines the largest apartments at Pier Walk and can be reserved online in one booking. Or, for 12-16 guests and 10 parking spots, we can custom-combine 6 apartments with 6 bathrooms overlooking the pool deck that are all adjacent and facing each other on the first floor providing easy, secure access to the shared laundry room, pool bathroom and pool shower 24 hours a day.

Pier Walk can host up to 50 guests and 26 parking spots between all 20 furnished units. All bookings are based on real-time availability but dates can be held by request for 24-48 hours.

This spacious, minimalist designed two-bedroom is Pier Walk's largest apartment with 3 parking spots and is located on the second floor, overlooking the center of the heated courtyard swimming pool with LED's that light up at night after you watch the sunset, to serve as an evening backdrop from the west-facing windows. It can sleep up to 6 guests and comes with two or three driveway parking spots (unassigned). It is the only Pier Walk apartment with its own private washer and dryer included for personal use. 

As you enter your apartment you'll find original, vintage postcards from South Florida and beyond, dating from 1930s to the 1970s, sharing a little history from visitors and the experiences they share with friends and families over nearly 100 years.

Now you become a part of that history and tradition at Pier Walk. 

Your primary bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps two guests, a smart TV, ample closets and a large window on the west side that overlooks the pool while the east window lets in the morning sun or you can sleep in using the white blackout blinds. The primary bedroom offers an optional office amenities package for $25, which includes a dedicated workstation with a wireless color printer and all necessary supplies for all your Work-From-Home needs.

Adjacent to the primary bedroom is the bathroom which has a double sink, and a tub and shower combination, perfect for larger groups. Beyond the bathroom is the guest bedroom which has a queen bed that sleeps two guests, a smart TV and a large closet space.

The fully stocked kitchen has been updated with white quartz countertops, white cabinets, a flat glass top oven and all stainless steel appliances, including a large fridge with an automatic ice maker, and a filtered water dispenser.  Watch beautiful sunsets from the kitchen table or kitchen sink every single day. Your apartment overlooks the center of Pier Walk's courtyard swimming pool with LED's that light up at night after sunset to serve as an evening backdrop from the primary bedroom, hallway or kitchen windows.  

Adjacent to the kitchen is the family living room which includes a dresser, a smart TV and a comfortable sofa that pulls out into a queen bed with a mattress topper for additional comfort and sleeps two guests. The black-out curtains leading to the kitchen entry can be left open for family or group use, or they can be closed off for privacy and partial sound privacy.  

Your second-floor apartment comes with high-speed fiber WiFi and a Roku TV in each of the bedrooms that includes a free Roku channel with over 1,200 free movies, shows, music and live TV AND a free streaming service with an additional 1,115 channels. So there's ALWAYS something entertaining to watch for the whole family whether it's crime, drama, documentaries, cartoons, sports, thrillers or music on Pandora!

PLEASE NOTE: there is no cable service and you must have your own paid subscription streaming accounts for services such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc. 
Our courtyard pool is heated until May and the outside stainless steel BBQ grill is powered by propane gas and ready for hosting your group or family gatherings!

Our high-speed fiber internet is serviced directly through business Comcast so you can confidently host or join your Zoom meetings, video conferences, and online presentations with no issues, as many of our guests have already done. Your queen-sized bed is made with all hypoallergenic bed sheets, plush pillows and a bedspread. In the bathroom, you'll find white cotton towels.

We also provide a detailed local guidebook to all our guests after booking.


**WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH BOOKING?**

1-4 GUESTS: If you're a group of 4 guests or less, your booking comes with 2 queen beds. If you'd like to add a sofa bed setup, there's a $50 one-time linen fee to use the queen sofa bed with a mattress topper. The queen sofa bed is located in the den, which serves as the third bedroom and can be closed off using a curtain. If you'd like to reserve a twin air bed setup in addition to the queen sofa bed, there is an additional $50 fee. **The air bed only fits in the primary bedroom.** Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival if you'd like to reserve an extra bed.

5 GUESTS: Bookings for 5 guests come with 2 queen beds and 1 queen sofa bed. If you'd like to reserve an airbed, there is an added cost of $50. **The air bed only fits in the primary bedroom.** Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival if you'd like to reserve an extra bed.

6 GUESTS: Bookings for 6 guests come with 2 queen beds and 1 queen sofa bed. If you'd like to reserve an air bed, there is an added cost of $50 for the setup. **The air bed only fits in the primary bedroom.** Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival if you'd like to reserve an extra bed.


**IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT THIS LISTING**

The principal guest must e-sign our house rules agreement and submit a matching photo ID within 24 hours of booking.

We offer a full refund within 48 hours of booking if you change your mind for any reason, as long as it's at least 2 weeks in advance of your reservation. 

Stays of 45 days or more require monthly cleanings at a cost of $75 for studios, $95 for one-bedrooms, and $125 for two bedrooms. There's no other housekeeping included.

Pier Walk provides all the starter supplies for the first few days guests need to settle in, consumables like paper products, coffee, tea, spices, and bath soaps & shampoos. After that, guests are responsible for their own supplies and must purchase as much or as little as needed

To prevent cross-contamination in the pool, all guests must use outdoor shower to rinse off before entering the Pier Walk pool, and especially after returning from the beach. Please do not leave towels or personal belongings outside at any time. 

If a special setup has been reserved (early check-in or extra bed setup), we can't offer a refund if canceled less than 24 hours ahead of check-in.

Collect Belongings and Manage Deliveries Before Check-Out. Please ensure all personal items are collected, and deliveries are arranged before check-out. Any items or deliveries left behind, including those arriving after check-out, will be discarded within 24-48 hours, as we cannot provide storage. We are not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.

EXTRA SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT → $50, Plus tax**


Bookings for 3 or 4 guests come with two queen beds in the bedrooms that each sleep 2 people. If you'll need an additional sleeping arrangement for your reservation of 4 or fewer guests, there's a $50, plus tax, one-time fee for the queen sofa bed setup (or portable crib setup) and linens. A twin air bed could also be added in the main bedroom for an additional cost of $50, plus tax.


**NOTE: If your reservation includes 5 or 6 guests, the price adjustment for the three-bed setup will be already included in your booking.


PACK-AND-PLAY CRIB RENTAL --> $50, plus tax**

LOCATION DESCRIPTION

We are located on A1A South Ocean Drive, one block from the beach, a ten-minute walk south of the Deerfield International Pier on Hillsboro Boulevard and only one block away from the beach! Hillsboro Boulevard is where you'll find many shops, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and convenience stores. Walk to the famous and legendary JB's on the Beach restaurant for fine seafood-centric dining directly at the ocean's edge. And you don't even have to dine there to get a drink! Just walk up to their outside bar, order a drink for two and walk back to your towel and guest by the ocean to cool down. Try the Bocce Balls!

Downtown Boca Raton is only 10 minutes by car. Here you'll find Mizner Park with a large and open walking collonade with covered gazebos including an IPIC Theater with an in-theater dining experience, high-end restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater at the end featuring a variety of concerts and events. Or make a reservation at Louie Bossi's and order the best meatballs or mushroom pizza you've ever had. All their mouthwatering bread, pasta, sausage, and infused oils are made in-house and the warm, low lighting decor is very intimate and suited for conversation. Best of all, you're 30 minutes away from either the PBI or FTL airports and anywhere you want to be in South Florida.

Oceanside Beach Service offers rentals for their beach chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas and is located right on the beach. All of their seating is located on the south side of the pier directly across from the Wyndham Hotel. OBS is just a 9-minute walk from the Pier Walk property.

MIND & BODY

LA Fitness Center is located on Hillsboro Boulevard just 5 minutes away by car. It is fully equipped with free weights, cable machines, treadmills, and bikes. Other amenities include group fitness, indoor cycling, basketball, sauna, personal training, and a juice bar. They offer trial passes and reasonable monthly rates. Open 7 days a week.

If you’re in need of a massage, Spa 950 is a 10-minute walk south on A1A. Located inside the Hilton Embassy Suites, it has a state-of-the-art sound system and offers a full-service spa including couples massages, facials, and baths to relax the mind and body. There's also a salon. Spa 950 is open Tuesdays to Sundays and no, you don't have to be a guest there.🙂

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $300.00 taxable cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 48 hours away at time of booking.

About the Owner

Hi, I'm Marco. I was born in NY and grew up in the north-central Bronx near the botanical gardens. I went to Fordham Prep, Binghampton, NYU, and worked in Real Estate finance out of college. I have a wide variety of interests which include opera, classical music, ballet, traveling, stoicism, and creating real estate as an experience that's built around an amazing team and community. I met my wife Danielle in NYC in 2008, moved to South Florida in 2014, and got married in 2015. She has a passion for traveling, the visual arts, reading kayaking, classical piano, and bike riding. She's also used to be academic coach for students who need help with executive functioning. We love the endless summers here and look forward to sharing some local Florida sunshine experiences with you as your home away from home! Pier Walk on Deerfield Beach is a family-owned and family-managed vacation rental boutique. After traveling the world together for the past 10 years, we've noticed that we've had to pay higher and higher prices to get a good stay. While we don't mind spending luxury rates for a luxury stay, we don't believe you should have to pay luxury rates just to get a good stay. We like to think our properties have everything we'd expect without having to pay high rates just to get it. We love to offer a great location and a great experience at a good value...because that's what we want when we travel!
