What are your booking requirements?
You must be at least 18 years old. We require a current, verified government or state ID for insurance purposes and to ensure the safety of our community. We have a strict cancellation policy but for every booking, you have the option of purchasing travel insurance for a fraction of the booking cost in order to cover over 30 reasons plans can change and get a full or partial refund.

What are your cleaning standards and procedures?
We have a unit inspector go through the property to make sure nothing has been missed with cleaning, stocking and supplies, staging, and damages.
The cleaning company we work with has always maintained very high cleaning standards as you can see from our reviews over the past 4 years.

We are on A1A, one block from the beach, a ten-minute walk south of the Deerfield International Pier on Hillsboro Boulevard, and only one block away from the Deerfield Boardwalk and award-winning blue-wave beach!
Every reservation includes free parking at a ratio of about 2 to 1. One for studios, two parking spots for bookings of 3 guests or more and 3 parking spots for bookings of 5 guests (up to, and including, all 28 parking spaces). No tags are required! Just email us a photo of your license plate for our records when you arrive or before.
Parking by the beach is $2-$4 per hour. Or you can park at Pier Walk one block away for free!
Are you near the airports? Can I store my luggage before I arrive?
TRAVELING SOUTH (from Palm Beach International Airport):
I-95 S to exit 42 for FL-810 E / Hillsboro Blvd. Slight left onto Hillsboro Blvd. Turn right onto SE 20th Ave. / S. Ocean Dr. Turn left onto SE 4th St. and enter the parking lot directly on your right

You can also take the Brightline Train from West Palm Beach Airport to the Boca Raton Brightline Station. Visit gobrightline to download the app and reserve your train seats in advance for the best pricing. Brightline offers shuttle service you can purchase during check out from and to their train stations!

Unfortunately, we don't have space to store bags before you arrive. However, you're welcome to park at any time on your arrival date and store your bags in the trunk. Please feel free to use our pool, lounge chairs, pool bathroom and pool shower for as long as you like until your apartment is ready at 3pm.

Is there a laundry facility?
Our shared laundry room is available 24/7 with keypad entry. The washers are coin-operated at $2/cycle in quarters and the dryers are completely free. Staff is there every other day during check-out and check-in hours and can convert quarters for you easily. We also accept cash, Zelle, PayPal, and other mobile payments.
Are dogs allowed on the pool deck?
Dogs are not allowed on the pool deck. Pets must be leashed at all times when coming and going from your unit.

Does Pier Walk provide beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas? What about coolers and ice?
Pier Walk provides bath towels and beach towels. However, we don't provide beach chairs, umbrellas or coolers. All of these items can be purchased at the local convenience stores like CVS and Walgreens, just a 3-minute drive away.
If you'd like to skip right to the beach, Oceanside Beach Service offers rentals for their beach chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas and is located right on the beach. All of their seating is located on the south side of the pier directly across from the Wyndham Hotel. OBS is just a 9-minute walk from the Pier Walk property.
Just walk up and take an available umbrella or cabana that you see on the beach and an attendant will come take your reservation.

What are your availability and pricing?
You can view our availability on our calendar or through the calendar booking process. It will only allow you to inquire about our open available dates and the current prices will be reflected with any additional fees. Florida State and Broward County charge a combined tourist tax of 12%.
There is also a cleaning fee that we pay directly to the cleaning company which is taxed monthly.

What do guests like about Pier Walk the most?
Our guests love vacationing or having a workcation where they can walk only one block to the Deerfield Beach Boardwalk. And the convenience of having a beautiful, heated swimming pool at their doorstep. The walkability of our location is also one of our most in-demand amenities, with the main strip that has all the great shops and restaurants needed for daily errands within a 10-15 minute walk.
Pier Walk is a complex of 20 boutique furnished apartments with 26 parking spaces on Deerfield Island: 12 studios, 7-one bedrooms, and one two-bedroom. It has 22 listings that can host anywhere from 1 guest up to 16 guests at a time for larger groups and families. We're family-owned and managed with several hundred happy, returning guests. After booking, guests receive our detailed online local guidebook and property house manual as well as a video tour link of the entire space to properly plan their stay.
Do you allow monthly stays?
We offer lenght of stay discounts in order to accommodate short-term, mid-term, and extended stays for guests who want to relax by the beach or for the work-from-paradise guest that needs high-speed WiFi for productive video calls or streaming TV. Stays of 45 days or more require monthly cleanings at a cost of $95 for studios, $105 for one-bedrooms, and $125 for two bedrooms. There's no other housekeeping included. Pier Walk provides all the starter supplies for the first few days guests need to settle in. After that, guests are responsible for their own supplies and must purchase as much or as little as needed.
Do you have high-speed WiFi?
We offer Comcast High-Speed WiFi. High-speed is 100mbps on the 5GHz network and 50mbps on the 2.4GHz network.
Can I get mail delivery and packages?
There’s no mailbox available so USPS won’t deliver. However, you can rent a mailbox from the local post office or UPS store or use services such as Amazon hub locker to receive deliveries.
Generally, FedEx, UPS, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Delivery Dudes, Shipt, Instacart, etc will all deliver straight to your door with no problem.
But if you have something that might take longer than your reservation, then you may want to order it a few days before you arrive so that the delivery window falls between the dates of your stay. Make sure they have your phone number.
What TV services do you provide?
TV includes a free Roku channel with over 1,200 free movies, shows, music, and 1,115 live TV channels included. So there's ALWAYS something entertaining to watch for the whole family whether it's crime, drama, documentaries, cartoons, sports, thrillers, or music on Pandora! Please note: we do not provide cable TV service. For cable TV, you must purchase your own live and local TV subscription from Hulu or another streaming service.
Are there any safety concerns I should know about?
Pier Walk is located on the Deerfield Beach Barrier Island which is basically a very cute, quiet little beach town. But we advise all our guests to take the normal precautions you would take in any metropolitan city. Our properties have an exterior video camera system for the security of the property and the safety of our community.
What is your cancellation policy?
Moderate policy, no refunds under 30 days' notice of check-in. If cancellation is made within 30 days of the check-in date, the base rental amount will not be refunded, but the reservation dates may be traded for an equal period of time within 6-12 months of the original reservation.
Our website now offers all guests the option to purchase CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) travel insurance. Even for worst-case scenarios where there is no reason covered, there is still 60% coverage of your costs. Please select this option during your booking process if you are not certain of your travel plans.

What do I do with trash?
The cleaning company will take care of it. If you need to throw away any
garbage bags or larger items during your stay, the dumpster is located on the northeast side of the building, through the courtyard. Please make sure to collapse and flatten all boxes. All items must fit fully inside the dumpster with the lid down.
Why do you have quiet hours and what are they?
Our quiet hours are from 9 pm to 7 am. Pier Walk is a complex of 20 units connected to a courtyard with a swimming pool in the center, so quiet hours are to ensure the peace and quiet of your stay and of the entire community.
Do you have a propane BBQ Grill? How do I use it?
Yes, we have a barbeque grill that is available to all Pier Walk guests. Our BBQ grill uses propane gas tanks that are stored in the bottom cabinet below the grill. To operate, turn the shut-off valve located on the top of the propane tank clockwise to open the gas supply.
Once the propane tank is open, push the igniter button and then turn the control knob on the front panel clockwise to open the gas for the burner you choose. This and other info about the property is in our online guidebook under “House Manual” here: https://hostful.ly/gngldkb
Who are Danielle & Marco?
Danielle has a Master's in Arts Administration and Bachelor's in Literature from her undergrad at Washington University. She’s also an academic coach for students who need help with executive function. Marco has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from New York University and has studied business and real estate since he was 10 years old. They both met in NYC in 2008, moved to South Florida in 2014, and got married in 2015. They love the endless summers and look forward to sharing some sunshine in Hollywood with you!
Pier Walk is a family-owned and family-managed vacation rental boutique. After traveling the world together for the past 10 years, they’ve noticed that they’ve had to pay higher and higher prices to get a good stay.
While they don't mind spending luxury rates for a luxury stay, they don't believe you should have to pay luxury rates just to get a good stay.
They like to think their properties have everything they'd expect without having to pay high rates just to get it. A good location, at a good value, and a good experience. Because that's what they expect when they travel!
Why do we feature vintage postcards from Florida?
Throughout all our vacation rentals, vintage postcards from the 1930s through the 1960s are featured.
Our tagline, "Postcards from South Florida" is about the story of vacation travel in Deerfield and South Florida. And each framed postcard we display tells its own story from real people that visited once upon a time.
But it's also a metaphor for the experiences of our guests at Pier Walk. Because each of our guests has their own story, too. At Pier Walk, our goal is to help create wonderful stories, memories, and experiences during your stay with us.
From our in-depth guidebooks to all the details of art, story and history we pour into each property, we take many great efforts in the hopes that you'll fall in love with Deerfield, too.
Can I use Pier Walk's address as my residence?
No, we are zoned as a vacation rental building and can't receive US mail, as the US Postal Service doesn't deliver to the building.
Is there a coffeemaker in the apartment?
Yes! All of our units have a drip coffeemaker and we supply a few coffee filter packs at check-in.
