We’re excited to share a recent Sun Sentinel feature on Deerfield Beach’s history — including George Harrison’s secret stay right here at Pier Walk on Deerfield Beach, which was known at the time as the Shore Road Inn.
The article showcases rare, never-before-seen photos of George Harrison while highlighting Pier Walk’s unique connection to this fascinating chapter in local history.
The exhibition by The Deerfield Beach Historical Society included 18 beautifully restored photos documenting Harrison's stay in Deerfield Beach during a crucial timeline in his life and reportedly had over 600 visitors. It even sparked discussions about our participation in the 2026 Art Stroll!

To mark this moment of our rock history and to make our pool deck even more colorful next month, an outdoor shower surfboard mural is being installed with some vintage vibes from the 1960's and 1970s:
